Stahlkontor is one of the sponsoring members of the association, which was founded in 1957 with the support of the armaments department of the German Ministry of Defense (BMVg). As a non-profit association, the DWT is committed to the national security provision of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its aim is to promote knowledge of central issues of security and defense policy as well as defense and security technology and the defense industry.
The BDLI represents the interests of the industrial sectors of civil aviation, equipment and materials, defense and security, and space. The BDLI brings together all the relevant industrial policy, technological and economic expertise of the German aerospace industry by participating in specialist councils and committees of the ministries and holding hearings in the German Bundestag. With the ILA Berlin Air Show, the BDLI has its own international platform and showcase, which is one of the most important industry trade shows in the world.
Hanse – Aerospace is the largest independent association of suppliers and service providers to the aerospace industry, connecting small and medium-sized companies in Germany and around the world.
